Retro Dining Set – Extendable Table + 4 Chairs, 1960s–1970s

Dining set in the classic retro style of the 1960s–1970s, bringing the unique atmosphere of Czechoslovak design to any interior. The set consists of a rectangular extendable table and four chairs with elegantly shaped shell backs, featuring a distinctive cut-out at the lower part. The chairs are made of bent plywood with a natural wood finish and stand on tapered legs, typical of the furniture of that era.

The chairs are based on the design of Austrian architect and designer Oswald Haerdtl, whose work was also showcased at the Expo 1958 in Brussels, where the Czechoslovak pavilion achieved great success. This set thus represents not only period furniture but also a valuable design piece with growing collectible and investment value.
