Rustic chest with drawer – Original, circa 1900

This remarkable rustic chest is a fine example of clever rural furniture design from the late 19th century. The front mimics a dresser with three drawers, but only the bottom drawer is functional. The upper two are decorative, featuring the original hardware.

The main storage compartment is accessed via a hinged lid with original iron fittings. Inside, there is a practical layout including a small side compartment with its own hinged lid – perfect for storing smaller items. The surface has not been waxed, but a wax finish in a tone of your choice can be applied upon request.
