Ceramic Planter with Figural Decoration
A larger decorative ceramic planter (jardinière) with a sculpted relief running around the entire circumference. The motif depicts figures in a natural setting surrounded by stylized greenery. The surface is covered with a striking multicolored glaze in shades of blue, green, and pinkish tones. The planter stands on a flared base, which gives it stability.
Dating from approximately the first half of the 20th century. A distinctive decorative and collectible piece that will enrich interiors in vintage or Art Deco style.
